3・1朝鮮独立運動の発生による植民地学校令の失墜

Abstract

The education for Koreans in the colonized Korea was done based on the Korean Educational Ordinance promulgated on August 23rd in 1911 by the Imperial Ordinance No.229. The reason why the Educational Ordinance was a sutra of the Imperial Ordinance in relating to schools in colony lies in the following Art2 and Art3. Art.2 The essential principle of education for Koreans in Korea shall be in making of loyal and good people by giving instruction based on the Imperial Rescript concerning Education. Art.3 Education in Korea shall be adapted to the need of the times and the conditions of the people. However, the Educational Ordinance was abandoned by the Korea independence movement aroused on March 1st in 1919. This paper demonstrates the fall of the Imperial Ordinance relating to schools, by analyzing the reasons.
