都留文科大学における情報教育の現状と提言 : 学生アンケートからの考察

Abstract

家庭や学校へのコンピュータの普及や携帯電話により、大学入学時にある程度のコンピュータの知識を持った学生が多くなり、その基本的知識レベルや必要とする情報教育への期待はより多様になった。社会生活の中でも様々なコンピュータの活用が必須の技術となり、多くの学生の現状に即するように、基礎をしっかり学ぶ科目と多様な目的に有意義なソフトの習熟を学ぶ科目の充実が必要になる。都留文科大学の情報科目履修生を対象としたアンケートを通して、その現状とこれからの情報教育への提言を考察する。

Due to the penetration of personal computers and mobile phones at home and school, many students have already had a certain level of knowledge about computers before they enter university. Therefore, their expectation to the Information Technology (IT) Education including its basic knowledge course level has been higher and often varied. Also in a social life, the various ways of practical computer application have become indispensable. In order to cope with such current circumstances, it is imperative for the University to enrich both a basic IT course and a more advanced course by which students can learn useful skills for various purposes. The objective of this paper is to discuss and study the proposal for future IT education by analyzing the current status of the IT education at Tsuru University through the questionnaire result.
