| 抄録: | Following the previous papers which treated text books and teacher's books for Kindergarten and Grade 1, we introduce and investigate an American arithmetic text book and the teacher's book for Grade 2, named "Mathematics" published by McGraw-Hill Company. And we point out the differences in Japanese teaching methods from those of the U.S. including addition and subtraction strategies and problem solving strategies. |
